From near-pastels to bold colors, we have it all. Our 70% PVDF fluoropolymer finish meets the performance requirements of AAMA 2605 and resists chemicals, abrasion, chalking, and erosion. This high quality finish features a 30-year warranty, which means it will maintain its film integrity, vibrant color, and gloss for a long time to come. Because finish colors may vary from on-screen images, contact your local Kolbe dealer to request actual color samples or create a custom color.

About Wood Stain

Kolbe products can be  finished on the interior with a water-based, low-VOC stain. After staining, a clear coat is applied, the surface is sanded, and a second clear coat is applied. Custom colors may be requested as well.

About Extruded Aluminum Cladding

A durable exterior helps safeguard the beauty of windows and doors, and helps prevent damage during harsh weather. This product has durable cladding of 6063 extruded aluminum alloy that is press-fit onto the exterior of the wood. Accessory grooves are integral to the frame exterior, which allows for factory or job site installation of extruded aluminum casing, sill nosing, and other exterior trim.

About Lift & Slide Door Sills

Lift & slide doors have Black anodized sills with 1/2" high, stainless steel roller caps for exceptionally smooth operation. Flush sills are available with or without a thermal break. Recessed sills are available for more accessible passage; a weep system may be requested.

Notes

Units with flush sills are limited to a maximum width of 28 feet. Interior sill nosing extensions are available. Units with recessed sills are limited to a maximum of 60 feet wide. Recessed sills must be finished properly during installation.
