1. Reclaimed Wood
A reclaimed barnwood door creates a dramatic entryway that blends rustic character with modern design. A sustainable option with a purpose, this artisan-quality door not only makes a statement, but also gives the home an environmental connection. The 10' tall door is surrounded by light flooding in through direct set sidelites, while an upper transom accentuates the height of the unit. A stylish 5' 3" Hoppe pull handle in a contrasting Brushed Stainless finish creates vertical emphasis against the horizontal panels of wood.
2. The Look of Steel
Kolbe's VistaLuxe® Collection has the versatility to serve as an alternative to — or in conjunction with — steel products, and presents a perfect solution for the desired aesthetic. The narrow frames with a choice of finishes offer a similar appearance to steel, with the added benefits of greater energy efficiency, shorter lead times, and lower cost.
A mulled half-circle and rectangular direct set with 5/8" performance divided lites and a Coal Black prefinished Pine interior give the appearance of steel windows. On the exterior, a custom textured Terra Cotta finish further enhances the sleek Flush style unit with a unique tactile surface.
3. The 'New Black'
For non-black interiors, Kolbe offers a custom Dark Gray stain as the 'new black' for interior wood finishes. This tonal shift denotes a sophisticated trend toward a soft, organic appearance that accentuates the character of the wood and allows the beauty of the grain to show through.
4. The Golden Revival
As an alternative to the Brushed Chrome craze, the warmth of gold has influenced our new Dallas hardware options available within our VistaLuxe Collection, Ultra Series and Heritage Series. Elegant Brushed Gold has been added as a finish for Dallas sliding patio and multi-slide door handle sets. For inswing and outswing doors, a striking two-toned Matte Black/Brushed Gold handle set features a Brushed Gold handle with contrasting Matte Black escutcheon, turn knob and key cylinder.
